I bought this commentary for my daughter - per her request. I have had a copy of this book for many years and thoroughly enjoy Adam Clarke's commments on the scriptures. I grew up with the whole set - several large black books, that my mother owned. This abridged version was done by a man that I've known for many years, and trust his views. He was a staff member of the Nazarene Publishing House in Missouri for many years. I don't know if he's gone to heaven yet. I highly recommend this commentary. - from Amzon
